Can we work together? Below are my criteria for coaching clients.

I’ve been doing this a long time and I know the types of people that benefit from my approach.

Have a read and see what you think. If you like what you read it might be a good fit. At the end of the piece is some info on my personality and way of working. You’ll probably know by now if you like my approach. If you do I’d encourage you to shoot me a message and we can shoot some ideas around. 

In addition to the below I’d add this. If you’re looking to work with me to build an online coaching and/or education business you need to be a great coach with a track record of getting results. That way it’s wayyy easier to build this out into something online and do it quickly.

1. Prioritise action over planning.

This one is super simple, nothing happens unless you make it happen. I really need you to be prepared to put the work in.

The people that succeed the most with my coaching are the people that find a way to get it done.

This is going to sound harsh but I don’t care about what you’re doing on the weekend, how your kids are acting up, your boss or partner is being a d***.  None of that makes it happen and you’re investing in my services to make it happen aren’t you.

Look, I admire everyone on the entrepreneurial journey, I know it’s not easy, but I need you to commit to the process. And then good stuff will happen for you.

2. Patience and Growth

We all want results yesterday, believe me this is my mindset through and through and it’s served me well. But one of my biggest personal developments is learning that business is a combination of making it happen and letting it happen. Some things cannot be forced and do take time. The main thing that can’t be forced is actually your own personal development. You’re business will advance in line with your own understanding and growth. If you’re at 10k per month and have been for a year or so it’s not going to be next month you hit 50k or 100k is it. These things take time even if you deliver the strategy and take action immediately. We will always look for quick wins, check my testimonials for proof but don’t believe the hype from the guru’s.

3. Readiness and Openness

If you had it all dialled in you wouldn’t be reading this, thinking about investing in my services would you. I need you ready and willing to try new things as well as leave behind some of the old ways that just are not relevant for your upgraded goals and vision. Indecision serves nobody, least of all yourself.

Please don’t tell me you’re going to come back to me when you’re at X a month or point A/B/C in a few months time. It’s an excuse and you know it.

In actual fact the time when you need to work with me is precisely when it’s not going as you want it too.

The test is this.

If you look back over the last 12 months and things have not been getting steadily better and better and then you look ahead and ask yourself honestly if you know what you need to do and you have the will to act and make it happen.
The answer to those questions is the the answer to whether you need my help or not and you probably know it already. 

4. Risk Tolerance

Risk is inherent. You will need to invest something to see returns in any endeavour in life. The same is true for coaching and mentoring. You must invest in yourself putting the time into that, and of course you must financially invest in your coaching.

We’re good at this in some areas of life such as mortgage debt, university £30k degrees, fancy cars and generally buying stuff we don’t need, but really bad at it in other areas such as investing into marketing, hiring staff, getting expert advice and coaching.

For a little less than a university degree you can bring me in for a full year to work with you on your business goals, learning along the way, developing skills for life, benefitting from my proven network.
Do you get that outcome with the degree, or an expensive car, or a Rolex or Louis Vuitton bag?

Sorry to burst your bubble but NOPE.

5. Coach First.

Coach first, friend second. Look I love making friends but the problem I see with so many coaches is that they deliberately push into the friend zone thinking this is good coaching and then the relationship breaks down because of it.
They (or you) are not able to say what needs to be said and you as the client lose out.

It’s selfish and a huge disservice to you as the client. We may end up as friends and some of my clients are some of my very best friends as well as some of my mentors,  but I’m here to get you results and that means I need to be direct with you and vice versa. I need to call you out on your own BS and generally act in a way that you probably do not have in your life. Hence why you’re bringing me in.

Vision and Clarity

Most coaching and education businesses and entrepreneurs have a much bigger business opportunity than they realise. They can’t see ahead because they’re stuck in the weeds dealing with the day to day. That’s where I come in.

I can see what others can’t generally see, I can map the business opportunities out very clearly for you and then create a realistic strategy and implementation plan for you to get there very quickly, in line with your goals so you have crystal clear clarity on how to achieve it. I’m sure you can see the value in this. 

Velocity

My most successful clients are those who will very likely get there on their own in time, they just want it sooner and they understand that expert help is needed.

Speed comes initially from vision and clarity. Just knowing what to do will speed things up.

But it also comes from overcoming self sabotage, upskilling your team and the people around you, and implementing my straight line strategy. The most linear route to the goal without getting distracted, losing focus and losing traction.

I work in a very hands on way with my coaching clients, partnering with you, driving the business forwards and working with you personally on each and every aspect.
