Client Success Manager Role – Work for The Coaches Coach

Let’s begin here…

Things have moved rapidly here since I launched in July, we now have almost 500 people in our online community ‘Entrepeneur Coaches and Educators’, almost 10,000 people subscribed to the weekly newsletter Champion Coaches, and every day dozens of enquires from people that need our help to work with them to grow their business and build something they’re proud of.

It’s more than a one man job, I need help and would like to hear from you if you’re up for the challenge.

I had an amazing response for my sales advisor roles thank you to everyone who applied.

This role is for Client Success Managers. This is a critical role because you will be responsible for our clients success (the clue is in the title!). What I mean by that is you’ll be on boarding clients onto their programmes, speaking with them each week to make sure they are hitting their goals, moving forwards, and generally looking after our people in every way you can so we constantly over deliver for them.

It’s a customer facing role, you’ll be a visible part of our community speaking directly to people who have joined our programmes. It’s a blend of empathy, accountability and customer service.

I’m looking for one person who can do around 15-20 hours per week initially but who has the ability for it to move to a full time role in the coming months.

It’s a remote role, you would need to be in Leeds a day or two per quarter for training days. It could be on a contract basis if this fits with you better.

To make it in this role you absolutely need the following qualities:

Work Ethic –

You must be able to devote several hours per day to speaking with people on the phone, on zoom, and other video software as well as building on and creating new systems that will serve the business well which takes me to the next point.

Systems Based Approach.

I need someone who is comfortable with online platforms, CRM systems, has built processes before and approaches things with a  ‘build to last’ philosophy. We want a tidy, efficient business and you would have a real hand in that. The systems that will work for us are a blend of automation and genuine touch points with people at the helm. You cannot be afraid to pick up the phone.

Desire to Learn.

You’ll be working alongside me, I will teach you what you need to know. If you know it all already this probably isn’t the role for you. You can also teach me some stuff too, I need to learn and I need you to be confident in your work to do that.

Make it happen attitude!

This is a start up, it’s not a mature corporate business. You’ll need to be agile, get things done and not moan about it when things change.

Key Skills and Experience.

Experience in customer service is critical. Fitness background is great but not 100% essential.  Experience with CRM’s and online platforms really would be useful.

Compassion and Empathy.

We help people. That’s the key focus here. If you’re someone who thrives on helping others get better that’s a great place to start.

Build a career.

This is a profession and it needs a professional individual(s).

Here’s what we don’t want.

Someone who expects a salary at the end of the month without delivering anything for it, this role is for people that want to make a big impact and are prepared to be judged on performance.

Someone who sees this as a bridge into working as a strength coach full time. This is absolutely the wrong opportunity for you.

Final point.

I don’t care about your personal situation, how young or old you are, where you are in your career or anything like that. I believe in second chances and working with passionate, driven people. It’s all about performance and fit. Can we work together and can you deliver?

If you like the sound of this apply below.

How to apply:

Email admin@brendanchaplin.com with the subject Client Success Manager

In the email tell me how you can make it happen and succeed in this role.

Tell me why you think you should get the job, when you can start and what help you think you need to make a flying start.

Also ask any questions you have and tell me what you would like to be paid for the role.

Very simply show me what you can do.

Interpret that as you wish 🙂

Timescales:

I love speed. Get your application in asap. The deadline is the 24h September, but the people who get in touch sooner with a considered application will be ahead of the rest immediately. I may even discount the later applications.

If you’re successful at this stage we will set up a call and then get you up to Leeds to meet in person as the final stage.

I expect this process to run through September for an early October start date.

If you’re still reading this I’m excited to hear from you. It could just work out.

My best to you,

Brendan. Xx
